Tuukka joined DSharp Oy in November 2023 and is working here as a Head of Development. Tuukka is a devoted developer with an emphasis on data modelling, software development practices and programming languages. He has been working on healthcare, industry and municipal domains and at workplaces such as Turku University, WM-Data/Logica/CGI and Ineo. His work roles have varied from assistant teacher, developer, project manager and software architect to head of development. Most of his time has been spent on pure coding, building architecture and mentoring people.
Tuukka is a full stack developer who is proficient with dozen programming languages and several databases systems. Technologies include C#, .NET/Core, Azure, Java/EE, Python, MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and Linux and several other, hopefully forgotten, technology stacks. His main focus has been on backend and database systems with tooling for integration and migration. Formal requirements engineering, modelling and methodology development are part of the skillset too. Unix philosophy – minimal and modular – is the way.
Tuukka has studied Computer Science in Turku University. Tuukka is a certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Administration Associate. Past certificates include IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Foundation Level and SAFE® Product Owner/Product Manager 3.5.
