DSharp Studio Release: Extended Data Catalog and New Find Command
Our latest release of DSharp Studio brings a major update to the Data Catalog and a new Find -command to help you move quickly inside the software and a series of practical improvements across modeling, analysis, and deployment. We also included some bug fixes.
A More Capable Data Catalog
The Data Catalog now accommodates a wider variety of content. In addition to the model and generated content provided by DSharp Studio, it can now store company infrastructure details, integration processes, and reporting solutions. Organisations can collect this information in any way they choose and load it into the catalog through the external schema interface.
Element descriptions can also be maintained outside DSharp Studio, whether for conceptual model elements or generated content. Metadata for solutions generated by DSharp Studio is exported after a complete build, keeping the catalog in step with the current state of the model.
Quicker Navigation with Find
The new Find command searches across element names, descriptions, certain properties, and mapping files. It supports targeted searches in mapping files using the “;” separator and also works as a wildcard when the separator is omitted. From the Stereotypes pane, it is now possible to locate all elements assigned to a selected stereotype.
There are more improvements to the modeling, user interface and analysis for the generated database. To read about all the features and to download the new version check out the release notes.
